T206museum.com proudly presents and offers the following unopened tobacco packs on behalf of a long time baseball tobacco packs collector. All packs have been authenticated by GAI and guaranteed unopened. If you are interested in any of them or have any questions, please email us.

#2, 1909-1911 Piedmont T206 Baseball Tobacco Pack (10 cigs) -- GAI 8

This Piedmont unopened 10 cigarettes pack featuring an original internal revenue stamp with Dewitt Clinton series of 1910 "AUG 5, 1909" still fully intact on one side of the pack. It was manufactured in Factory No. 25 of the 2nd Dist. of Virginia which matches all the characteristic of tobacco packs that house T205 or T206 baseball cards.

This pack is one of the finest known to exist in unopened condition. Both end seals are 100% intact. The tax stamp is Mint, and other than a little minor surface foxing, the box is Near Mint. Could this pack contain a gem mint Honus Wagner that could grade better than a PSA-8? Could the misspelled "Magie" reside inside? Could Plank lie quietly slumbering? How about a mint green background Cobb? Or a gem mint T206 common that could easily sold for more than the price of the pack. Would you have the nerve to open the pack? Or would you keep it intact like those $150,000 boobles of wine that could be the ultimate Bordeaux Rouge?

A few collectors believe Piedmont pack manufactured by "Liggett & Myers" were issued after 1911 and believe T206s can only be pulled from packs manufactured by "American Tobacco Company". If "Liggett & Myers" manufactured packs after 1911, it is strongly possible that tobacco baseball cards were in some instances inserted into packs in later years after 1911. These tobacco packs were manufactured a hundred year ago and there were no precise records dating these packs. All those "theories" were just speculation and much is not known with certainty about tobacco packs. Again, we have seen numerous instances collectors pulling tobacco baseball cards from packs manufactured by "Liggett & Myers" such as the one that shown below and the 12 cigars Piedmont pack the owner is selling.

This Piedmont pack has been graded a GAI-8 NM-MT and guaranteed unopened. GAI labeled the pack as "1909-1911 T206 Baseball Tobacco Pack". Unlike the 12 cigars Piedmont pack that the owner is selling, the owner cannot be guaranteed if there is tobacco card inside this pack but T206 baseball cards known to be pulled from this type of 10 cigarettes Piedmont packs. Please refer to one of our articles for details. "A T206 pulled from a 1910 era Piedmont pack"
