Thank you for stopping by my channel! Two days ago, on December 8, Robert Edward Auctions held their Fall 2024 auction, which featured an incredible discovery "A collection of 13 Piedmont 10 count cigarette packs along with a carton". According to the auction description, seven of these Piedmont packs were still sealed and unopened. Out of these seven, six were included in the auction, as the consignor decided to keep one for their personal collection.

In addition to the sealed packs, six packs had their tax stamps broken, meaning they were already opened. These six opened packs were grouped into a single lot. Lastly, the Piedmont carton found alongside these packs was also included in the auction.

This was an impressive and rare find! Robert Edward Auctions sold the six unopened packs as individual lots, each fetching between $20,000 and $35,000. The six opened packs sold for $29,000 as a single lot, and the carton went for $20,000. Altogether, this Piedmont collection brought in a total of $218,400. If the consignor decides to sell the pack they kept, the entire collection would be worth a staggering quarter of a million dollars. That’s just insane!

Two weeks ago, right before Thanksgiving, I uploaded a video announcing a $5,000 bounty for something specific I’ve been looking for. A week later, I increased the bounty to $8,000 and promised to reveal the details today, December 10. Since I mentioned the unopened Piedmont packs earlier in this video, it should come as no surprise that my $8,000 bounty is related to them. Here are the details:

The $8,000 Bounty

I’m looking for one of the lucky winners who purchased one of these unopened Piedmont packs. Specifically, I’d like to either:

Be invited to participate in a live pack opening, or > Receive an unedited video of the auction winner opening one of these packs and pulling an authentic T206 or T205 card from it.

Here are the conditions for the bounty:

The unedited video must clearly show the original shipping package from Robert Edward Auctions, sealed and unopened on all sides.

The video must show the auction winner opening the package, revealing the unopened Piedmont pack sealed in a container, box, or bag as packaged by Robert Edward Auctions.

The auction winner must identify which pack(s) they won and will open in the video.

The unopened Piedmont pack must match the condition and images provided in the auction description.

During the pack opening, the video must clearly show the winner’s hands holding the pack at all times. The pack must remain in view throughout.

If the pack contains a tobacco card, it must be a T206 or T205 card. Non-sport tobacco card does not qualify.

The card pulled must be in near-mint, uncirculated condition.

Lastly, I, along with my website (t206museum.com) and my YouTube channel (t206museum), reserve the right to display and share the video footage on YouTube or any other platform.

What I Don’t Care About

The player featured on the T206 or T205 card.

The buyer keeping the pack and the card.

Bounty Expiration

This $8,000 bounty will expire 30 days from the date of this video, on January 9, 2025.

I understand there could be more than one collector who purchased these unopened Piedmont packs. However, my bounty will only go to the first collector who contacts me and expresses interest in claiming it.
