Group of three T206 errors sold for $9000

Sotheby's with SportsCards Plus auctioned a group of three T206 error cards for $9,000 in their June 2005 auction. Such lot included Fred Snodgrass (batting, spelled "Nodgrass - most of initial "S" missing), Fred Beck (missing red ink - no "B" on cap) and Vive Lindaman (missing red ink - no "B" on cap). All three of these cards have been authenticated by third party grading company. Book value for Fred Nodgrass (batting) is $4,000 in NM, $1,500 for Fred Beck (no "B") in NM and $1,500 for Vive Lindaman (no "B") in NM condition as well.

This auction also sold a PSA-1 T206 Honus Wagner for $132,000 which is the highest price ever sold for a PSA-1 specimen.
