Color Variations on T206 Backs

| Brown Hindu |
Red Hindu (RARE) |
Hindu -- Hindu brand backs have two different
colors, brown and red. These two colors
are very easy to distinguish and fully recognised by
all collectors. The brown Hindus
first appeared with the 150 Series cards and red
Hindus showed up later in the T206 process.
Red backs are much rarer than brown Hindus and will
only be found on cards that are not
known with brown Hindu back.
The scarcity order of Red Hindus are between Uzit and Piedmont
Series 350-460, Factory 42.
The scarcity order of Brown Hindus are between Carolina Brights
and American Beauty Series 460.

| Black Lenox |

Lenox -- Lenox brand backs have two different
colors, black and brown. These two colors are not
as easy to distinguish as brown and red. However,
one can tell the different by bare eyes.
Since the brown Lenox backs are first discovered
in the early 1980's, they are still not recognised by
many collectors. Some collectors think those
browns are just the faded version of black lenox backs,
in fact, this is just a misconception.
Brown Lenoxs are very scarce. The scarcity order are
between Broad Leaf Series 460 and Drum.
The scarcity order of Black Lenoxs are between Blank Back
and Broad Leaf Series 350.

Old Mill -- Color variations on Old Mill brand
are only known to exist on Southern Leagues players.
The two colors are black and brown. These two colors are not
as easy to distinguish as brown and red. However,
one can still tell the different by bare eyes.
These brown Old Mill Southern Leagues backs are just
a recent found in the early 2000's, they are still
not fully recognised by most collectors. Similar to the
Lenox variations, some collectors think these
brown specimens are just the faded version of regular black
backs but that's a misconception.
Brown Old Mill backs are very difficult to obtain.
The scarcity order of them are
between Ty Cobb back and Broad Leaf Series 460.
The scarcity order of Black Old Mill Southern Leagues is
about the same as Cycle Series 350 back.
